Venues in Atlanta

Earn extra income from your business space.

If your Atlanta business has a window, a counter, a bulletin board or a waiting area customers look at, you can list that space on FlyerDuty. Local clients book it for their flyers and posters, you choose which ones go up, and you're paid for each placement.

Bookings depend on the campaigns clients run near you, so no number of placements is guaranteed.

How it works

How hosting ads works

You run it from the venue dashboard, and nothing goes up in your space without your say.

  1. 1

    List your venue

Create a venue account, find your business in the directory or add it, and confirm the venue's phone number. The business is verified before campaigns can reach you.
  2. 2

Add your spaces and set your rates

Add the spaces you can offer, flyer-sized or poster-sized, and set a rate for each kind of ad. A rate can be a placement fee plus a daily rate, or one flat daily rate.
  3. 3

    Choose which campaigns go up

Campaigns near you arrive in your intake. Accept the ones that fit your venue, decline the rest, or propose a different rate to the client.
  4. 4

Put the ad up and log it

Print the ad or have it printed, put it in its space, and log it with a photo when the client asked for one. You're paid once it's up and its proof is in.

Rates

You set the rate

Placement fee and daily rate

Charge a fee when the ad goes up plus a daily rate for as long as it stays, or a single flat daily rate. Each kind of ad can have its own rate.

Upfront or flexible billing

Have clients pay for the whole placement when the ad goes up, let them pay weekly as it runs and end it early, or offer both.

Your call on each ad

Every campaign comes to your intake first. Decline anything that doesn't suit your business, and pause new requests when your space is full.

Formats

Ads your space can hold

Each space is either flyer-sized or poster-sized, and you choose which you offer.

  • 4 × 6 handbill

    4 × 6 in

A small 4 × 6 in handheld piece. Runners hand it out or drop it off at homes, and venues can stack it for visitors to take.

  • A4 flyer

    A4 (8.27 × 11.69 in)

An A4 flyer a venue can put up on a wall or board. Runners can also hand it out or drop it off.

  • 11 × 17 poster

    11 × 17 in (tabloid)

A larger print for venue windows, walls and boards, meant to be seen from a distance.

  • Brand ad

You book a venue's display space, and the venue prepares the piece from your logo and call to action.

Printing

Getting the prints

The venue takes care of the printed copy. You have three ways to get it.

Print it yourself

Print the ad on your own printer or at a nearby print shop, at the size the campaign asks for.

A Runner prints and delivers

Ask a Runner to print the ad and bring it to you. You set the most you'll pay for printing, and the printing, the delivery and the service fee come out of the placement's pay.

A Runner collects your order

Prepay an order at a local print shop, and a Runner collects it and delivers it for $7.00 + $1.25/mi, based on the distance. The fee comes out of the placement's pay.

Requirements

Before you start

You're paid for a placement once it's up and its proof is in. The money goes to your FlyerDuty balance and on to the bank account you connect through Stripe, with an invoice for each payment.

Authority to list

You own or manage the business, or have its permission to list its space.

The venue's phone

We confirm the number listed for the venue before it goes live.

A phone for photos

Campaigns usually ask for a photo once the ad is up.

A bank account

Connected through Stripe to receive payouts.

Bookings aren't guaranteed. How many campaigns reach your intake depends on what clients run near you and the rates you set, and you decide which ones to accept.

Questions people ask

How do I make money from my Atlanta business's window or wall space?

List your venue on FlyerDuty, add the spaces you can offer, and set your rates. When a local campaign wants your space, it arrives in your intake. Accept it, put the ad up, and you're paid for the placement.

Who decides which ads go up?

You do. Every campaign comes to your intake first, and you accept or decline each one. You can also stop taking new requests at any time.

How much do venues earn?

It depends on your rates and how many campaigns choose your venue. FlyerDuty doesn't guarantee bookings or income.

Do I have to print the ads myself?

No. You can print them, ask a Runner to print and deliver them, or have a Runner collect an order you've prepaid at a print shop for $7.00 + $1.25/mi. Runner printing and delivery charges come out of the placement's pay.

What kinds of businesses can join?

Places where people wait, eat or browse, such as coffee shops, restaurants, laundromats, salons and barber shops, gyms, convenience stores, bowling alleys and movie theaters.

What do I need to sign up?

You need to be authorized to list the business, a phone number for the venue so it can be confirmed, and a bank account for payouts through Stripe. The business is verified before you can accept campaigns.
