Community standards
FlyerDuty Code of Conduct
FlyerDuty works when customers, Runners, residents, and venues can trust one another. These standards explain the behavior we expect from everyone using the platform.
For Runners
Do honest, respectful work
Runners represent FlyerDuty in their local communities. Your reputation is shaped by completed gigs, client feedback, proof quality, and how you handle communication.
- Be respectful to customers, residents, venues, and other Runners.
- Do not abuse FlyerDuty by gaming the system, earning without doing the work, or failing to make a good-faith effort to complete a gig. A first offense results in a suspension; a second offense results in a ban.
- Only accept gigs you can complete, communicate promptly about delays, and follow the client’s instructions and agreed distribution area.
- Submit truthful placement records and photo or video proof. Never fabricate, reuse, or manipulate proof.
- Follow local laws and property rules. Do not trespass, harass residents, block access, or leave flyers where posting is not permitted.
- Coordinate printing and other expenses with the client first, and submit honest descriptions and receipts for requested reimbursement.
- Protect people’s privacy. Capture only the information needed for placement proof and do not share private addresses or personal details.
For everyone
Keep the marketplace safe
Customers, Runners, venues, and FlyerDuty all share responsibility for accurate, lawful, and considerate activity on the platform.
- Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or target people because of who they are.
- Be safe. Do not post explicit sexual imagery, graphic material, or hate speech, and do not use FlyerDuty to encourage violence or unlawful activity.
- Provide accurate campaign and gig information, including the intended audience, location, timing, and materials.
- Only upload content and use materials you have the right to distribute. Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, and property rights.
- Do not spam, impersonate someone, defraud another user, manipulate ratings, or create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions.
- Honor agreed budgets, reimbursements, deadlines, and communication. Raise concerns through the platform instead of retaliating against another user.
How trust is maintained
Depending on the account and gig, FlyerDuty uses identity or business verification (Runners verify through Stripe Identity and must be 18 or older), required placement proof, client ratings and comments, completion history, dispute review, and resident reports to help identify reliable work and investigate concerns.
We may remove content, pause a gig, restrict account access, suspend an account, or permanently ban an account when behavior violates these standards, the Terms of Service, or applicable law. We may act immediately when safety, fraud, harassment, or illegal content is involved.
If something goes wrong, preserve relevant details and contact FlyerDuty through the available support or dispute process. Do not retaliate against someone who reports a concern.
This Code of Conduct supplements the Terms of Service. If the two conflict, the Terms of Service will apply.
